HOUSING PROBLEM AGGRAVATION WITHIN SOUTH URAL AT THE BEGINNING OF THE 1950S

Abstract. The author shows that the 50s of the ХХth century were the time of major changes in social sphere in postwar history and those changes also included housing reform, mentions that during that period housing deficiency became a serious social problem and in connection with it the state headed for budget-priced, cost-cutting housing mass construction; and undertakes the attempt to reveal the housing crisis basic reasons at the beginning of the 1950s and to analyze the measures of its overcoming.
