Abstract. The authors determine the main principles of Khakasiya history theme exposure in the newspaper Soviet Khakasiya basing on the analysis of its publications and reveal the interrelation of the changes in the system of the principles, techniques and methods of the presentation of historical themes materials and the most significant historical events that took place in the country and the national region during the period from 1930 till 1964 to the readers.
