Abstract. The author reveals the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire activity on healthcare organization, pays special attention to medical practice legal regulation during the specified period, studies numerous normative-legal acts regulating healthcare sector during the indicated period and at the same time considers medical work rather extensively, including medical personnel training.
