Abstract. The author describes the features of young people cultural identity basing on transition type cultural roles demonstration in social discourse, emphasizes meaning increments in such precedent texts use as cook's children, intellectual in the first generation and the manifestation of such cultural roles as self-made man and trickster in relation to the basic concept of intellectuals as ethic ideal.
