Abstract. The author researches the architectural and graphic space of Old Kingdom Egyptian private tomb by the example of Saqqara mastaba of nobleman Mereruka, analyzing the graphic repertoire of chapels and adjoining premises reveals the basic differences in their design and suggests possible reasons of several false doors in one burial.
