MATERIALS ON ORTHODOXY HISTORY WITHIN TRANS-BAIKAL IN SOME STATE ARCHIVES FUNDS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Abstract. The author characterizes some state archives funds of the Russian Federation in the context of the availability of the documents on Russian Orthodox Church history within Trans-Baikal, gives the names of funds and individual cases which contain the material on Orthodoxy within the region, and undertakes the attempt to estimate the degree of various aspects of region Orthodox history reflection in the documents of one of the central archives of Russia.
