THE LEGAL REGULATION OF LOAN-SAVING PARTNERSHIPS MANAGEMENT AND ACTIVITIES AT THE END OF THE XIXTH CENTURY

Abstract. The author describes the legal regulation of rural loan-saving partnerships which was defined in the Regulation about Small Loan Establishments approved by Emperor Nikolai II in 1895, distinguishing some norms from the Regulation that controlled loan-saving partnerships management and activities the author compares them with the norms that controlled other types of small loan establishments, analyzes in detail the major regulations of loan-saving partnerships standard charter approved by the Minister of Finance of the Russian Empire on April 13, 1896 and reveals the positive and negative aspects of the law.
