Abstract. State regulation and state property have played and continue to play an important role in Canada, Australia and New Zealand economy conditioning the high level of their social-economic development. The author analyzes some conceptions of well-known British, American, Canadian, Australian and New Zealand researchers which explain the formation of such a large state sector in British Empire dominions in the ХIХth-ХХth centuries.
