Abstract. The author reveals the peculiarities of cultural-enlightenment work in Workers and Peasants' Red Army during Soviet-Finnish war in 1939-1940 and shows the features of this kind of ideological work in relation to the conditions and nature of battle actions at the northern-western borders of our country.
