Abstract. The authors consider secular music influence on Russian spiritual-musical culture from theoretical and historical-cultural points of view, analyze innovative processes peculiarities in church-singing tradition in Russia of the XVIIIth century and explicate admissibility degree and the reason of attracting musical adoptions from West-European culture to Russian spiritual musical culture.
