Abstract. The author analyzes the peculiarities of the synchronous and diachronous cuts of artistic cultures dialogue of the second half of the ХХth century. The methodological basis of the comparison of the specificity of the dialogue of two types of art - painting and music - is the philosophical theory of communication.
