APPANAGE VILLAGE OF VELIKII USTYUG DISTRICT OF VOLOGDA PROVINCE AND REFORM OF THE 26TH OF JUNE 1863

Abstract. The author analyzes the development of appanage village of Velikii Ustyug district of Vologda province from its formation to serfdom abolition, pays special attention to the structure of peasant land use and the estimation of volumes and burden of duties and obligations and characterizes the implementation and outcomes of the reform of the 26th of June 1863.
