BUILDING CEREMONIES OF THE MORDVINS OF SIBERIA AND FAR EAST

Abstract. The author considers the ceremonies and customs connected with the dwelling buildings of the Mordvins who lived within the territory of Siberia and Far East. Mordvinian population had and now has certain ceremonies, customs and superstitions connected with the choice of the material and place for building, its beginning and ending and also moving to the new house.
