RELIGIOUS CONFESSION AS THE PROTOTYPE OF COMMON-LITERARY GENRES

Abstract. The author reveals the features of confession interpretation as the genre of religious discourse among common-literary genres - autobiography, diaries and memoirs, separates the notions of confession and repentance, explains the essence of these notions in theological and common-literary senses, determines the peculiarities of confessionary intention realization in fiction texts and at the same time singles out such types of literary confession as confession-presentation, confession-statement, confession-reflection.
