RECRUITING AND TRAINING THE STAFF OF THE TERRITORIAL BODIES OF COMMITTEE FOR STATE SECURITY OF THE USSR (BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE ADMINISTRATION OF COMMITTEE FOR STATE SECURITY OF THE USSR IN KURSK REGION)

Abstract. The author considers the main principles of the selection, recruitment, training and educating the staff of the territorial bodies of state security of the USSR. The author comes to the conclusion that even today Russian special services need the realized support of population while protecting the basic interests of the state at the same time taking into account the historically-objective experience of the activity of the bodies of Committee for State Security. Such help and support are impossible without trusting the staff and actions of special service as professionally caused closeness and privacy don't correspond objectively to strengthening such trust.
