Abstract. The article is devoted to the characteristic of the orchestral script of Azerbaijan composers at one of the most impressive and original stages of Azerbaijan music development. Underlining the processes of symphonic music updating in the 1960s-80s, orchestral technique complication, new phenomena and tendencies which distinctly affected the orchestral practice of Azerbaijan composers the author tries to understand their artistic-aesthetic value.
