AQUA-ORNITHOLOGICAL PICTURES IN THE CONTEXT OF THE WORLD-VIEW OF THE ANCIENT POPULATION OF EUROPEAN NORTH-EAST

Abstract. The author analyzes practically all known at the moment pictures of swimming birds found during archeological researches within the territory of European North-East in the context of ancient population's world-view. The reconstruction of the world-view and mythological-poetical picture of the world of the ancient population within the territory of European North-East is possible while studying the pictures of swimming birds, singling out mythological universal phenomena and comparing them with the mythology of Komi (Zyrian) people. The attempt of such analysis is presented in the article.
