STRUGGLE WITH LOWER RANKS' DESERTION WITHIN THE TERRITORY OF VORONEZH PROVINCE IN 1914-1916

Abstract. The article considers the measures undertaken by the province administration concerning the search of lower ranks who were absent without leave or deserted from acting army and analyzes the interaction of military and civil authorities of Voronezh province while struggling with desertion in 1914-1916.
