EPOCHAL DIFFERENTIATION OF CRANIOSCOPIC COMPLEXES AMONG ARMENIAN UPLAND POPULATION

Abstract. The author traces the changeability of the cranioscopic attributes of the representatives of Armenian Upland through the epochs comparing data within quite a long time interval (from the epoch of early bronze till the ХХth century). One of the basic tasks of studying the attributes changes with time is the revelation of ancient attributes combinations which may be used for the reconstruction of ethnogenesis processes. Numerous scientific surveys using historical, archeological, ethnographic and language sources have made and are making their contribution to this problem development. It was necessary to enrich the ideas concerning the history of the Armenian people formation with anthropological evidences.
