EMBARGO ON WEAPON DELIVERIES TO EASTERN COUNTRIESAS THE PRINCIPLE OF FOREIGN-TRADE POLICY OF RUSSIA IN THE XVIIITH CENTURY

Abstract. The article reveals the essence of one of the aspects of foreign-trade policy of Russia which concerns the legislative limitations of the transportation of weapon and military materials for its making to eastern countries which operated in the XVIIIthcentury. Special attention is paid to the formation of the state policy of the prohibition of the transportation of the above mentioned items, to the examples of illegal weapon trade in eastern countries by the Russians, to Astrakhan' governor V. N. Tatishchev's suggestions to reconsider the policy of weapon export prohibition.
