Abstract. The article substantiates the necessity to study modern students' values in connection with Russia crisis state. The author has analyzed the dynamics of students' values and value orientations in Russia and formulated the theoretical points as the result of her own research of students' personality value orientations in 2010 which revealed the outlined tendency of narrowing the gap between terminal and instrumental values
