Abstract. The article shows that modern high technologies have powerful constructive and destructive potential that leads to the problem of the optimization of technologies influence on human life activity. The author thinks that nowadays the only way of solving this problem is the system of ethical principles. In the rapidly changing world it is ethics that must help a human adapt to the world, become the reference point of his activity and give the answers to the burning questions of modernity.
