Abstract. The ornament in the stone-cutting sculpture of Tuva small forms is considered in the article. The sources and traditions of pattern choice have been studied. The methods of ornamental decor have been shown such as graved, sculptured, traced, geometrical and vegetable patterns. The various ornament names are given according to the similarity to natural phenomena. The works with sculptured and traced ornaments have been analyzed.
