Abstract. The formation and development of pharmaceutical network in Ural cities in 1920-1930s are considered on the base of the many real facts and as one of the factors of natural reproduction improvement of the region population provided with the region industrial modernization. The improvement work of pharmacy staff qualification characteristics and the enterprise activity concerning the production and quality improvement of medicines are researched.
