Abstract. The research aims to characterize the affirmative text that serves as the foundation of simoron, a form of playful autogenic training. The paper analyzes the derivational activity and collocability of the notion of “simoron” in modern Russian. The scientific novelty of the research lies in identifying the system-forming features of the affirmative text and constructing its typology. As a result, it was found that the notion of “simoron” exhibits broad derivational activity in modern Russian, such that it has acquired certain collocability over time. Simoron adherents use the affirmative text in their practice of self-suggestion, which represents a declaration of will regarding oneself in the form of multiple repetition of a key phrase aimed at a positive solution to the problem and reflecting the individual’s vital and moral values. Based on the analysis of a corpus of affirmative texts identified using targeted selection on the Internet, the following typology was determined: according to their volume, affirmative texts are divided into concise and expanded; in turn, expanded affirmative texts are constructed in compliance with specific genre canons. Therefore, such types (genres) of affirmative texts as a poem, narrative text, letter, autobiography, meditation, and incantation are distinguished. The system-forming features of affirmative texts were identified, including temporality, suggestibility, axiologicality, and emotionality.
Key words and phrases: симорон, аффирмация, аффирмативный текст, типология аффирмативных текстов, витальные и моральные ценности, simoron, affirmation, affirmative text, typology of affirmative texts, vital and moral values
