Abstract. The research aims to identify and reconstruct the main ways of pejorative plurality representation in the Adyghe linguistic consciousness. The research is novel in that it is the first one in Adyghe linguistics to explore and systematize ways of expressing pejorative and contemptuous plurality. The paper is dedicated to analyzing the main ways of conveying the semantics of pejorative plurality. The work examines affixal means of representing the semantics of pejorative quantity, investigates lexical and phraseological units with the semantics of disapproving plurality, and identifies constructions that represent the semantics of pejorative plurality in the Kabardian language. The research findings have shown that pejorative plurality is represented in the Adyghe linguistic consciousness by lexical, phraseological, paremiological, and word-formation means. Thus, the basic way of pejorative quantity representation in the Adyghe linguistic consciousness is to attach the plural suffix to phraseological and lexical units with a disapproving evaluative connotation. In addition, the research has revealed complex words, set expressions, and constructions with the semantics of disapproving countless plurality, derogatory indiscriminate counting.
