The Pragmatic Marker "Eto Samoe" in the Multimedia Corpus

Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify the correlation between the use of the pragmatic marker "eto samoe" with the form of speech and with the naturalness and spontaneity degree in oral discourse. The article discusses the quantitative ratio of forms, types and frequency of using the pragmatic marker "eto samoe" in the multimedia subcorpus of the National Corpus of the Russian Language. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the comparison (based on statistical data) of the results of analysing the functioning of the pragmatic marker "eto samoe" in spontaneous and quasi-spontaneous speech, in live oral speech and its imitations. As a result, it was proved that the pragmatic marker "eto samoe" most often appears in the “classical” form of nominative case - accusative case, neuter gander, singular number; it is more often used in oral non-public speech and the frequency of using the pragmatic marker is one of the indicators of the naturalness and spontaneity degree in oral speech.
