“Final” Book of Poems as a Major Genre Form in Perception of Modern Domestic Literary Criticism

Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify the main theoretical approaches to the research of the book of poems and its genre-specific variety called “final” in the modern domestic literary criticism. The scientific novelty is determined by the fact that for the first time within the framework of a special study, the genesis, stages of formation, genre nature, structural and semantic features of the “final” book of poems are clarified, and its place in the modern genre system is determined. As a result, firstly, the period of this super-genre formation origin is specified, the reasons for the writer’s interest in it are revealed; secondly, the meta-genre nature of the “final” book of poems is ascertained and its genre markers are indicated.
