Creative Neologisms as a Result of Hybrid Word Formation in the German and Russian Colloquial Speech

Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify creative neologisms of the German and Russian colloquial speech formed through hybrid word formation, which is a combination of autochthonous and borrowed elements. The article discusses the main ways of forming neologisms using hybrid components. The scientific novelty of the research lies in studying the linguo-creative interaction of autochthonous and borrowed vocabulary in the process of colloquial neologisms formation. As a result of the study, it has been found that the main mechanisms of linguo-creative activity through hybrid word formation are universal. However, it results in language-specific colloquial units.
