Colour Triad "Black - White - Red" in the Adyghe Worldview and Its Functioning in Artistic Discourse

Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify specific linguistic means related to colouronyms in the Kabardino-Circassian language representing evaluative and emotional personal meanings that have a certain influencing potential. The scientific novelty of the work is that for the first time the role and place of the colouronyms of the colour triad "black - white - red" in the development of images in the Adyghe artistic discourse, in the ascertainment of the linguo-colour segment, the cultural perception of colour, the significance of colour lexemes and colour designations in the Adyghe writers and poets’ creative work are determined. The obtained results have shown the relationship between colouronyms and the system for developing national and author’s individual artistic images.
