New Zealand Language Space in the Context of New Educational Trends

Abstract. The aim of the study is to identify the modern features of New Zealand language space at the lexical level in the educational sphere having substantiated factors of new global trends influence. The main attention is focused on the lexical units of the M?ori origin in the context of the educational discourse as linguistic examples of education and language space bonds in New Zealand. The scientific novelty lies in the analysis of the lexemes of New Zealand national variant of English under the modern educational trends influence. As a result, the lexical units of the M?ori origin within the "Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand" educational platform, as well as the causes of new language units emergence in the rapidly changing language environment in New Zealand have been identified.
