Abstract. The purpose of the research is to identify lexico-grammatical and morphological features of antonymic pairs and their functioning in the Kabardian-Circassian language. The work is novel in that it is the first to determine lexical, grammatical and morphological features of multidirectional models in the verb of the language under consideration, using factual material, and identify the degree of regularity of models of the studied group. The research findings indicate a high valency of antonyms in the verb with the opposite direction of actions, which contributes to the development of the entire lexical system of the language under consideration.
