Abstract. The purpose of the study is to shed light on the images of hell and paradise in the context of archetypes of the Bashkir consciousness, using the novel "Blood" by Daut Yulty as an example. Scientific novelty of the work lies in undertaking a comprehensive study of two layers of the Bashkir worldview archetypes, pagan and Muslim, which became means for embodying Daut Yulty’s artistic view of the world. The attained results for the first time prove that the specified episodes of the novel "Blood" reveal secret writing of archetypes in the mind of the author of the work. Thus, statements of some researchers about one-dimensional nature of this novel are refuted.
