Realization of Additional Educational Programs for Special Disciplines Teachers on the Basis of Andragogy Principles

Abstract. The paper aims to reveal the specificity of organizing additional foreign language education for special disciplines teachers on the basis of andragogy principles. The article describes additional educational programs developed by Foreign Languages Department and aimed to improve special disciplines teachers’ methodical and professionally oriented foreign-language communicative competence. Scientific originality of the study involves justifying the thesis that andragogy principles should be taken into account when developing adult education programs. The research findings are as follows: the author reveals the specificity of implementing additional educational programs for special disciplines teachers and proves that reliance on andragogy principles helps to raise learners’ level of satisfaction.
