Concept EXISTENCE in B. Grebenshchikov’s and Bob Dylan’s Poetic Works

Abstract. The paper aims to prepare a lexical and stylistic profile of the concept EXISTENCE represented in the works of Russian and American poets through decoding the implicitly expressed existential ideas to identify the author’s preference and the figurative means of its expression in the poetic discourse. The scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that the study of the artistic concept EXISTENCE is carried out through its structure worked out by the authors and is based on the material of B. Grebenshchikov’s and B. Dylan’s poetry at the interface of comparative linguistics, the theory of language and existentialism. As a result, the obtained data prove the existential course of thinking of every author as a linguistic personality.
