Distinguishing Features of Oriental Poetry in Lyubov Martyanova’s Creative Work

Abstract. The aim of the research is to identify oriental traditions in the lyrics of the Chuvash poet L. Martyanova. In her poems, the traditions of oriental lyricism are the result of the influence of folk art, some traits of which are similar to those of the oriental, and the peculiarities of the historical period, which are characterized by the manifestation of interest in the traditions of oriental classics among the Chuvash authors. The scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that for the first time the poet’s work is considered in the aspect of oriental comparative studies. The results obtained have shown that the main features of L. Martyanova’s lyrics, such as verbal drawing, the image of small and insignificant details of the surrounding world, moments of life, seasons, etc., are manifestation of the traditions of oriental lyrics.
