Linguo-Stylistic Peculiarities of Lexical Units Nominating Secondary Educational Institutions (by the Material of the German and Russian Languages)

Abstract. The paper aims to reveal linguo-stylistic peculiarities of the German and Russian educational discourse by the material of the lexical units nominating secondary educational institutions. Scientific originality of the research lies in the fact that within the framework of studying linguo-stylistic peculiarities of educational discourse, the author for the first time provides a comparative analysis of the German and Russian lexical units nominating secondary educational institutions. The findings indicate that linguo-stylistic peculiarities of the lexical units under study manifest themselves in the phenomena of synonymy, polysemy and territorial doublets.
