Man-Nature Interaction in V. N. Fyodorov’s Novella "Citizen № 1 of the Forever Gone Town"

Abstract. The study aims to identify peculiarities of interaction between a man and his environment basing on an analysis of V. N. Fyodorov’s novella "Citizen № 1 of the Forever Gone Town". The article considers the genre singularity and structure of the work, the principle of co-operation adopted by the characters as a condition for their existence, the role and description of nature and the characters’ traditional way of living. Scientific novelty of the research lies in summarising results of the analysis of interaction between a man and nature in V. N. Fyodorov’s novella "Citizen № 1 of the Forever Gone Town". As a result of the analysis, peculiarities of shaping a man’s behaviour in conformity with nature are identified.
