Foat Galimullin’s Perception of the Tatar XX-Century Writers: Descriptive Review

Abstract. The paper aims to reveal the attitude of the literary critic, Doctor in Philology, Professor, scientist, public figure Foat Galimullin towards the Tatar XX-century literature. The article analyses Galimullin’s literary critical works "Эзл?н? вакыты" ("Time for Search") and "Офыкларны алдан к?реп" ("Broadening Horizons"), examines his views on the Tatar XX-century writers’ creative work. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the authors for the first time provide a descriptive review of F. G. Galimullin’s literary-critical activity. His vector of the Tatar literature perception is identified, the scientist’s view on creative work of such writers as G. Ishaki, M. Gafuri, ?. Tuqay, G. Ibragimov and others is revealed.
