Aspects of Corporality and Anagram: Text as Body. Collection of Stories by I. A. Odegov "Stump"

Abstract. The paper analyses the collection of stories by I. A. Odegov "Stump". The research objectives are as follows: to examine representation of the notion "corporality" in the stories and to prove that the text contains an anagram of the body. The article considers the author’s techniques used to analyse and realize the concept "corporality", ex-plores the anagram of the book existence in the space of its own text. Scientific originality of the study involves a choice of the research material (the story collection "Stump" has not been previously investigated in domestic liter-ary criticism) and clear and precise analysis of postmodernist conceptions influence on I. Odegov’s creative work. The conclusion is made that I. Odegov skilfully creates a textual anagram using the constant of corporality in his stories.
