Abstract. The article examines specificity of translation analysis of author’s acknowledgements. The paper aims to reveal the potential of modern digital technologies while analysing the English text emotional component from the viewpoint of its translation into Russian. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the researcher considers application of modern digital technologies in translation analysis. The findings indicate that a digital analysis of evaluative statements as a genre-formative factor of the author’s acknowledgement allows deeper understanding of the text semantics, makes translation quality assessment more objective, optimizes processes of pre-translation and post-translation analysis.
