Images of Nature in Dzhaminat Kerimova’s Creative Work

Abstract. The article aims to identify specificity of nature images in D. Kerimova’s lyrical works. Artistic originality of the poetical texts is emphasized, their comparative-contrastive analysis is conducted. The paper focuses on analysing the poems’ figurative system and poetics. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the researcher for the first time examines the poetess’s landscape lyrics. The conclusion is made that the analysis of the poetical works allows identifying the author’s attitude towards nature and human life. D. Kerimova’s landscape descriptions are characterized by laconism, diversity of motives and introduction of philosophical problematics.
