Inter-Discursive Inclusions in the Aspect of Translation (by the Material of Ch. Tomlinson’s Poems)

Abstract. The article examines the inter-discursivity phenomenon in the linguo-culturological and translation aspect. The paper aims to identify inter-discursive inclusions in Ch. Tomlinson’s poetical texts and to find out to what extent they are preserved in translation. The means for interaction of poetical texts with religious discourse, music and theatre at the verbal and figurative level are revealed. Scientific originality of the study involves identifying inter-discursivity markers in poetical texts little known to the Russian readers and describing the techniques to preserve inter-discursive inclusions in translation.
