Classification of Adverbs in the Russian Dialects of the Trans-Amur Territory: Semantic Aspect

Abstract. The research objective is to describe the adverbs represented in the "Dictionary of the Russian Dialects of the Trans-Amur Territory" and to classify them. The existing classifications of literary and dialectal adverbs are compared; special attention is paid to the problem of adverbs variability. Scientific originality of the paper lies in the fact that the authors focus on studying poorly investigated vocabulary of a secondary dialect, namely, dialectal adverbs in the Russian dialects of the Trans-Amur Territory, identify the basic lexico-semantic groups of adverbs, describe their semantic peculiarities. The research findings are as follows: the authors introduce a semantic classification of the adverbs represented in the "Dictionary of the Russian Dialects of the Trans-Amur Territory".
