Specificity of Realising Communicative Goal of Expert Examination under Traditional and New Communicative Conditions

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying the speech genre of expert examination. The purpose of the work is to determine specificity of realising the communicative goal of the expert examination genre. Scientific novelty of the research lies in studying expert examination from the standpoint of the speech genres theory on the basis of using the method of factor analysis. The author has identified the basic characteristics of the genre, determined specificity and limits of communicative goal-setting of the expert examination genre, studied influence of communicative environments and spheres on realisation of expert examination illocution. As a result, the researcher has proved that communicative goal-setting of the expert examination genre is bidirectional: it is directed at conveying information and making an assessment; speech manifestation and correlation between the two objectives depend on pragmatic conditions of the genre realisation.
