Kyazim Mechiev’s Poetic Versification of Abusufyan Akaev’s Poem "Дагъир-Зугъра"

Abstract. The article analyses in the comparative aspect "eastern poems" - "Дагъир-Зугъра" by A. Akaev and "Takhir and Zukhra" by Kyazim Mechiev. The researcher considers specificity of the eastern tradition development in "Takhir and Zukhra" and reveals originality of the poem in comparison with poetical works of the Kumyk author. The paper provides analysis of artistic expressive means used by K. Mechiev to describe realia of eastern life, to characterize the personages. The researcher’s attention is focused on the region’s cultural ties determined by the epoch and personal contacts.
