ETHNO-CULTURAL MODULE AS A UNIT OF EDUCATION CONTENT WHEN FORMING SENIOR PUPILS’ FOREIGN-LANGUAGE ETHNO-CULTURAL COMPETENCE

Abstract. The article considers the ethno-cultural module as a unit of education content when forming foreign-language ethno-cultural competence, the ability to introduce the cultural peculiarities of the native country in crosscultural communication. The author proposes a block-modular structure of ethno-cultural material. Special attention is paid to modern interactive methods and Web 2.0 technologies, which allow organizing learners’ autonomous work (ethno-web-quest, Glogster, ethno-cultural case, ethno-frame, video journal).
