MECHANISTIC IMAGE OF A MAN IN THE RUSSIAN LINGUISTIC WORLDVIEW

Abstract. The article is devoted to the description of the mechanistic image of the conceptual sphere "Man". The main regularities of metaphorical transfers are revealed in the figurative modelling of the conceptual sphere "Man" by means of a mechanistic metaphor. The productivity degree of the lexical realization of the identified areas of figurative modelling is analysed. The study is performed on the methodological basis of cognitive linguistics and conducted by the material of the texts of the Russian National Corpus interpreting the image of a man using the metaphor of a mechanism.
