LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY’S INFLUENCE ON TRANSLATION ACTIVITY IMPLEMENTATION (BASED ON THE MODERN MEDIA)

Abstract. The article presents a detailed analysis of the existing scientific approaches to understanding the essence of a linguistic personality, its influence on the features of translation activity implementation. The purpose of the work is to identify the types of translation deformations under a linguistic personality’s influence. The results show that discourses in translation process are subject to numerous changes at all the levels of an utterance organization. Scientific novelty of the research is to identify the types of the original discourse deformations depending on a linguistic personality’s structure on the basis of comparing the source text and the target text.
