NEW TERMS OF THE LEXICO-SEMANTIC GROUP "FASHION" IN PRACTICE OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of assimilation of the Russian fashion terminology by foreigners - future specialists in the sphere of fashion industry. The authors’ attention is focused on new fashion terms, basically of the borrowed origin. These terms are not yet assimilated by the lexical system of the Russian language, still they are actively used by fashion industry representatives, which determines the necessity of their assimilation by foreigners, who are going to work in this sphere. The authors suggest terminological vocabulary exercises aimed to form students’ communicative competence necessary for their future professional activity.
